Before
Objective: Increase “AI training” success rate. AI training requires users to log their food and monitor their glucose for 5 of their first 14 days in app.
Before
Background: January AI is on a metabolic health mission is to increase the world’s “healthspan”—that is, the number of years we remain in good health, free of chronic disease.
When I joined, the team was weeks away from releasing its “V2” iOS app, a new and improved version of the company’s first product. The team looked to me add educational content, improve health insights, and streamline user onboarding.
In 2023, I led efforts to reimagine our V2 app as a Freemium model that removes reliance on hardware, augmented by a personalized AI Health Coach. Our free app was released in January of 2025, and has been downloaded by 100k+. It holds a 4.6 rating with nearly 1,000 reviews.
